Auditory1 Deep Sine is an experimental instrument for the free Decent Sampler, created to explore emerging ideas and push the boundaries of the platform’s built-in oscillator engine. Rather than relying on traditional sample playback, Deep Sine generates its sound entirely in real time, transforming a single waveform into a surprisingly expressive and versatile instrument.
For the first time since the release of acclaimed Pianobook libraries such as Deep Harpsichord, Deep Harp and Deep Orient, no recorded samples were used in the creation of this instrument. Where those libraries reimagined acoustic instruments through sampled physical modeling, Deep Sine takes a different approach: pure synthesis distilled to its most fundamental form.
Deep Sine requires Decent Sampler 1.17.0 or later and is compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and iPadOS. Supported VST plugin formats include Standalone, VST3, AU and AAX.
Deep Sine is available for $20 USD. An introductory 50% discount is currently available, reducing the price to $10 USD for a limited time. Once the introductory pricing period ends, the instrument will return to its regular $20 USD price permanently. This release follows a strict launch-pricing policy, meaning there will be no future discounts, seasonal promotions, Black Friday sales, holiday offers or temporary price reductions.

At only 22 MB, Deep Sine remains remarkably lightweight while offering five carefully crafted sonic variations, each designed to deliver a distinct character straight out of the box. Chill Sine delivers a pristine, focused sine tone equally suited to delicate melodies, expressive leads and spacious ambient pads. Sine Ray enriches the signal with subtle saturation, adding warmth, depth and harmonic presence. Aurora Sine introduces modulation for haunting, cinematic textures and ethereal soundscapes. Static Sine employs bitcrushing to produce cold, robotic timbres and industrial-inspired leads. Electric Sine drives the signal through overdrive, adding edge, attitude and a raw sense of energy.
To further expand its sonic palette, Deep Sine includes a dedicated harmonic selector that instantly introduces additional intervals, including Octave Up, Octave Down and Perfect Twelfth (+19 semitones), opening the door to richer harmonies and evolving textures.
In keeping with the philosophy of simplicity, the interface remains intentionally uncluttered. Two primary controls shape the entire experience. The Envelope Control (sine-wave icon) adjusts the instrument’s response and articulation, while the Space Control (3D cube icon) blends reverb and delay, allowing sounds to move effortlessly from intimate and focused to vast and atmospheric.
Deep Sine is an exploration of how far a single waveform can go. Minimal in design, efficient in size and unexpectedly expressive, it demonstrates the creative potential of real-time synthesis within Decent Sampler.
