Emergence Audio have released their Infinite Collection – a free cinematic sound library for Kontakt Player 7.7+, offering a curated glimpse into their acclaimed Infinite Motion series.
What’s Included?
Despite being a lite version of its commercial counterparts, Emergence Audio’s new sample library is a fully functional, expressive toolkit designed for composers, ambient producers and sound designers seeking deep, evolving textures and organic motion.
The new Infinite Collection provides 10 sound presets, all based on Emergence Audio’s Non-Static Sampling as well as the Infinite Motion Engine. Covering a rather wide spectrum of sounds, the library offers the following instruments:
- String Textures: Violin, Cello and Double Bass – each delivering lush, evolving tones.
- Wind and Vocal Textures: Clarinet and Soprano – ideal for airy, expressive layers with subtle movement.
- Tonal and Percussive Instruments: Infinite Bird Whistle, Infinite Steel Tongue (drum) and Infinite Upright (piano) – offering meditative, organic timbres with a modern twist.
- Atmospheric Presets: Quantum and Source Code – two of Emergence Audio’s harmonically rich cinematic soundscapes, offering evolving ambient textures with analog-inspired motion for immersive, expressive layers.
Compatibility and Access
Infinite Collection runs in the free Kontakt Player – no full version required – and supports VST (VST3), AU and AAX formats on both 64-bit Windows and macOS. To install, simply register on Emergence Audio’s website (link at the end of the article), obtain a serial number and activate the library through Native Instruments Native Access.
