Deep Drum is a dual octave tuned percussion library, made of 50 high quality samples in Wave format. Each set of samples represents one of two dynamic layers – which are based on a synthesized model of an acoustic hand drum.
It is the 3rd free instrument to be released under Auditory1’s deep lineup, after deep orient and deep harp.
an expressive instrument
By moving a dedicated Dynamics knob, the tone of the drum will gradually change and evolve – from very soft to “punchy” hard. The Dynamics control is automatically set to CC #1 by default (your MIDI controller’s modulation wheel). You can of course change the assignment however you please.

To further optimize user experience, the Attack, Decay, Sustain & Release controls were placed on the left, while the remaining sound shaping parameters can be seen on the right side of the GUI. They contain two frequency filters (high-pass and low-pass), a distortion module and of course, reverb.
Deep Drum is available for the Pianobook community as a free Decent Sampler instrument. DS works in both stand-alone and VST forms, and supports Windows, Mac, Linux & iOS operating systems.
