Independent FX developer UnplugRed (Melody) has recently launched the free Magic Carpet delay VST effect plugin for Windows, Mac (macOS) and Linux 64-bit. It comes in plugin formats VST3 and Audio Units (AU) as well as CLAP – aka CLever Audio Plugin – a relatively new plugin extension developed by u-he and Bitwig.
The free Magic Carpet delay effect is served in a retro looking user interface with a corresponding visualizer that seems to drive inspiration from ’90s software designs.
A time-based 3-band delay unit, the Magic Carpet VST FX offers a rather simplistic delay plugin with only five main controls and a few extra features that can be accessed by right-clicking the GUI.
