The latest submission from Fracture Sounds Blueprint features a solo violin, viola and cello string ensemble, compatible with the Native Instruments free Kontakt Player.
Blueprint String Trio features an ensemble patch containing three basic classical sounding orchestral/symphonic articulations – sustain, staccato and pizzicato. The longs are dynamic and mod-wheel expressive while the short articulations provide multiple round robins (sample variations).
This free Kontakt instrument/VST also offers 3 microphone mixes: Close, Room (also called Mid) and Far – and you could either balance these manually or use a dedicated dynamic parameter named Perspective.
Blueprint String Trio is the 14th instrument to be released under Fracture Sounds’ free VST series. It is also the 4th string library so far, after Short Strings, Gentle Strings and Textural Violin.
Like all Blueprint instruments, the library is compatible with NI Kontakt 7 as well as the free Kontakt Player. Supported plugin formats: Standalone (PC/Windows 64-bit & Mac), VST3, AU, AAX and NKS.
