Venus Theory has launched yet another free Decent Sampler VST instrument. The latest plugin in the new Auras series presents Eraphine – a winter themed library based on “frozen” organic textures, ethereal vocals, choir-like pads and other similarly characterized patches.
Auras Eraphine can be seen as somewhat of a bonus instrument in VT’s free lineup. While previous editions featured synth-based instruments, this one uses – or actually reuses – vocal samples (and other sounds, like viola harmonics) from an older release.
The new Eraphine is a remixed and remastered version of a library that was once available through another platform – the Pianobook website. For those unaware, musician and popular YouTube personality Venus Theory used to be a top contributor in the samplist-based community. However, since early 2023 he had not been seen on the platform.
auras:eraphine is available as a Decent Sampler player instrument. Decent Sampler is offered as a stand-alone application for Windows 32-bit/64-bit as well as for Mac-running workstations, Linux platforms and also Apple iOS & iPadOS devices (supported plugin forms: VST, VST3, AU & AAX).
