Auditory1 is built on countless hours of hands-on work, deep listening and a genuine passion for sound. Unlike many music production blogs that rely on press releases or surface-level impressions, I personally download, install and rigorously test each and every single plugin – whether it’s a VST instrument, sample library or audio/MIDI effect. I don’t skim. I dive in. And I only recommend tools that meet a high standard of quality and are genuinely usable in real-world production.
Beyond reviewing, I’m also a plugin developer myself. I’ve released several original tools – mostly free – including Deep Harp, Deep Orient, Deep Drum and Deep Harpsichord for the open Decent Sampler platform (via the Pianobook community). These creations are the result of long nights, obsessive tweaking and a love for crafting instruments that inspire others.
As a disclosure, some of the links on this site are affiliate links. They are clearly and distinctively marked with a golden “Featured” label, which means I may earn a small commission if you choose to make a purchase – at no extra cost to you. These commissions help sustain the work I do here, from writing reviews and original articles to developing new plugins. But they never influence my recommendations. I only share tools I believe in and use myself.
Running this platform isn’t just about creativity and curation – it also comes with practical overhead. From domain registration to server maintenance, there are ongoing costs that keep everything online and accessible. If you’ve found value in my work and want to support it directly, you can also donate here. Every bit helps me keep creating, reviewing and sharing with the community.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
